You can't "manage" stress but you can change your relationship with it.
This is a great consolidation of research into dealing with stress. It's increasing for workers all over the world (developed and developing nations) with one of the key drivers being one of my three R's : organisational Restructures. The research argues (and I agree) that trying to avoid stress or schedule it with smart productivity apps isn’t the answer. We have to learn how to deal with it and embrace it by increasing our resilience. Three simple strategies are discussed :
Don’t try and avoid or eliminate stress – change how you think about it
Understand what you can and can’t control
Link these to actions - do something about it.
